Leadership Team

The collective knowledge, expertise and ‘can-do’ attitude within the Morgan Steer Orthopaedics team means we never shy away from a challenge.

It is exactly this mindset that has allowed us to develop and manufacture a range of (spinal) devices that make a positive difference to the lives of the patients that need them the most.

In bringing to bear so many years of experience in cutting-edge medical device technology development and commercialisation, we continue to position the company for sustained success and reinvestment in new technologies that will serve to benefit healthcare providers and patients alike.

Matt Jelley

Managing Director and Global Business General Manager

With a commercial and operations background across medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and automotive, Matt has over 25 years experience in leadership roles and senior management.

Matt has been pivotal to the company’s year on year expansion since its inception in 2010, successfully navigating the partnership with Smith & Nephew and leading the ensuing manufacturing transition and Morgan Steer’s SpineWand development project.

Following the international expansion of the business and the acquisition and development of new technologies as well as the divestment and sale of completed new technology development projects, Morgan Steer Orthopaedics is well positioned for success in different countries and continents.
